Picking the Perfect Mansfield Toilet [Buyer Guide]

Here’s a list of four main features to look for when shopping for a Mansfield toilet.

A bathroom with a sink, toilet, and bathtub. Text: "Best Mansfield Toilet Review and Guide - Toiletable" and Mansfield logo.

Construction Type

You’ll first need to decide on the type of construction – the most common types Mansfield offers are the one-piece and the two-piece models. One-piece toilets give you peace of mind in terms of maintenance. They feature a seamless design that is less likely to develop bacteria and odor. Furthermore, they are a better choice if you are lacking free space in your bathroom. On the other hand, two-piece construction is older, more traditional, and trustworthy.

Shape Of The Bowl

The shape of a toilet bowl plays a key role in terms of comfort. If you want a more comfortable toilet, the elongated shape is the best choice. Still, elongated models are a bit bigger than the alternative option, round bowls. Therefore, if you want to save a few inches of space, round models are a better option. If you want both comfort and space, consider seeking out the compact elongated shape. This type of design provides ultimate comfort and saves up a decent amount of space.

Toilet Height

There is no ideal toilet seat height to suit everyone. Standard height is ideal if the entire family is going to use the same toilet. Right height toilets are a bit taller and may not be ideal for kids. However, these are a great option for the elderly and individuals with movement disabilities.

Flushing Mechanism

The flushing technology a toilet uses has a huge impact on its performance. When it comes to Mansfield toilets, the most common technology is the dual flush. The partial flush is meant for liquid waste only, consuming less water than the full flush. On the other hand, the full flush is more powerful and meant to be used for solid waste.

Bottom Line

All in all, Mansfield toilets offer high-quality construction and efficiency at a fairly affordable price. Today’s winner would be the Summit two-piece toilet. It is easy to maintain, highly efficient, very powerful, and comfortable. It’s an ADA-compliant toilet and consumes 1.6 GPF.
