Flushing Power

Kohler knocks it out of the park with the Santa Rosa’s flushing power, thanks to a precision-engineered tank, bowl, and trapway as well as the praiseworthy AquaPiston. The AquaPiston canister harnesses gravity to increase the power of every flush. That means no more lingering streaks or stains in your toilet bowl nor any clogs in sight!

The toilet also has a durable canister design that has 90% less exposed seal material than the usual 3” flapper, significantly decreasing the chance of leakage. The canister flush also requires lower actuation force, helping the model maximize efficiency.

The Santa Rosa uses 1.28 gallons per flush – an economical and environmental win! Compared to a traditional 1.6gpf unit, this model can save you 20 percent on your annual water bill.

Let’s start with the toilet’s comfort factors. The Santa Rosa is a Comfort Height toilet standing at 16.5”. While it’s not ADA compliant, the height is still at good height for users who don’t necessarily require an extra layer of support while sitting or standing up. The toilet’s elongated bowl disperses the user ‘s body weight to make sitting easier as well.

The Santa Rosa comes with a Quiet-Close elongated seat that prevents lid slamming, in turn maximizing your seat’s lifespan. The Quiet-Close seat also comes with Quick-Release hinges for convenient cleaning.

This one-piece model seamlessly connects its toilet and bowl making cleaning extra simple. Instead of unnecessary nooks and crannies, the toilet flows smoothly throughout, taking away extra space where dirt and grime might hide.

The Santa Rosa is available in white, biscuit, and black black. It comes with a bolt cap accessory pack, tank accessory pack, bowl, tank, tank cover, and trip lever.

Recommended Accessories

If you want to upgrade the Santa Rosa, have no fear – Kohler has a wide array of compatible products that go great with this toilet. The Cachet Nightlight Quiet-Close toilet seat has all the great features of the Quiet-Close seat, along with a nightlight for nighttime bathroom trips! The toilet is also compatible with the C³®-420 elongated bidet seat, which is an affordable space-saving bidet option.

  1. The one very irritating thing is the flushing mechanism sticks and requires removal
of lid after every flush and adjusting the float to allow water to flow back in.
I’ve tried the adjustments recommended on videos and it helped for a week and then the problem recurs. VERY frustrating part of an otherwise wonderful toilet. But, that makes me rate it as
a low quality toilet unless you can provide equipment that will work more than 3 months.
I don’t want to keep replacing a faulty engineered mechanism. I adjust it to work and it overflows and won’t stop water from going down the drain. I adjust it the other way so it doesn’t drain
water and it won’t operate after flushing. Looks like I need some new parts, but it is only about a year old!!!
