This one-piece toilet is eco-friendly and reliable.
Flush Power
The Harken is a one-piece, compact elongated toilet with a 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF) rating, which is considered a standard flush rate. The toilet has the highest MaP score possible of 1,000 grams.
The toilet utilizes Kohler’s AquaPiston flush technology. Using a piston-like action to push water into the bowl, the toilet’s flushing system creates a more efficient and effective flush. The system uses a canister design that allows water to flow into the bowl from all sides, which helps to keep the bowl cleaner and reduces the potential for clogs.
The toilet’s larger flush valve allows more water to enter the bowl faster and provides a more powerful flush as well.
Design
The compact elongated bowl shape of the Harken is designed to save space without compromising comfort. The Harken is not ADA-compliant but has a seat height of almost 15 9/16” which is relatively comfortable for most adults.
The Harken comes with a left-hand polished chrome trip lever that needs to be pushed up to be activated. It’s a small detail that we think makes the Harken a little bit more unique. That being said, the whole toilet’s design is very distinct.
Notice the toilet’s wide, rounded tank which seamlessly flows into the toilet’s skirted trapway. The crown molding at the top of the tank and at the bottom of the trapway brings the whole piece together wonderfully.
Another bonus – the toilet’s skirted trapway makes it extra-easy to clean, as bacteria doesn’t have anywhere to go.
The Harken comes with a Quiet Close Seat, so no more annoying toilet seat slamming when you’re in a rush.
Though this is a bonus that many toilets don’t include, the Harken’s price is a bit expensive for what you get. For the cost of this toilet, we think you would be able to get more features, such as a deodorized seat or a dual flush mechanism, like the Kohler Highline. Nevertheless, the Harken is a solid unit that delivers on all its promises.
The toilet only comes with white and requires a 12” rough-in. A supply line can be purchased separately.

Looking for a new Kohler toilet? Don’t look no further than the Kohler Reach toilet.
This toilet is a basic but dependable one-pice toilet. We covered the bases with a detailed design and flushing description and what I actually thought of this toilet.
Also, I listed a bunch of helpful material for you to make your personal judgement on the Kohler Reach toilet.
Full Review of the Kohler Reach Toilet in 2023
“We like the Kohler Reach because of its comfortable bowl shape and angular tank. There’s nothing better than a toilet that’s both user-friendly and easy to clean.”
Key Features
Flush Score:1000 MaPWhat is MaP?Grams of waste removed in a single flush. Scale = 0 - 1000
Water Consumption: 0.8/1.28 GPFGallons Per FlushEfficient toilets use 1.28 gallons per flush, saving 20% more water than 1.6 GPF toilets.
Bowl Shape:ElongatedShape ExplainedElongated bowls are oval shape and 2” inches wider than round bowls
Flush Type: Dual
Style: One-Piece
Certifications: WaterSense, CEC
Dimensions :
Toilet – 28.93″ x 14.43″ x 28.43″
Rough-inWhat is a Rough-in?Measurement between center of waste pipe and wall – 12″
TrapwayWhat is a Trapway?S-shaped curved channel inside the base of the toilet. Waste travels from the bowl through the trapway, then out the bottom of the toilet. – 2.12″
Seat HeightWhat is the Seat Height? The measurement from the floor to the top of the toilet seat. Standard height toilets measure between 15 - 17 inches, while chair height toilets measure 17 inches or more. – 15.5″
This one-piece toilet is a solid choice that over-delivers on the basics.
Flushing Power
You won’t see a traditional lever on the Kohler Reach because the toilet has a shiny chrome-plated top-mount dual-flush actuator with two options – 0.8 or 1.28 gallons per flush. Dual-flush toilets are great because not all waste loads are created equal. Why waste more water than you need to on small loads? The Reach takes care of that problem by letting you be in control of your own water usage.
This toilet is WaterSense certified meaning it meets EPA flushing guidelines by using at least 20 percent less water than traditional 1.6-gallon units. The toilet also has a MaP score of 1,000 grams – the highest grade possible.
Smart Design
We’ve reviewed hundreds of toilets. At the end of the day, all we really want is a hassle-free experience. The Kohler Reach is a good example of how simple can sometimes mean better. The toilet’s skirted trapway eliminates any annoying hiding spots for bacteria and grime.
The Reach’s seamlessly connected tank and bowl further simplify the cleaning process. Just gently wipe down the model with mild soap and water and you’re good to go. No more endless scrubbing!
The Reach is not ADA-compliant. This is important to note if you know your toilet will be used by those in need of extra assistance. The reach is 15.5” – a standard height that will be suitable for most adults and children. The higher the chair, the easier it is for adults to sit on and stand up from. If you’re looking for an entirely accessible model, this model may not be for you.
The toilet does have a compact elongated bowl that offers an extra layer of comfort during sitting while occupying the same space as a round-front bowl. Elongated bowls tend to be more comfortable because they disperse user body weight.
The Reach comes with a Reach Quiet-Close elongated seat. The Quiet-Close seat reduces seat-slamming so you don’t have to hear the annoying clanging noise each time you leave the bathroom. For toilets in this price range, toilet seats tend to be included. However, it’s always nice to see a company go beyond the average seat by including one with extra perks.
The toilet only comes in white. A standard 12-inch rough-in is required for installation and a supply line is not included.
While there aren’t that many reviews for this particular model, the reviews available show that users love how easy the model is to clean. Users also love the dual-flush options and noticed savings on their annual water bills. The most common complaint is the lack of ADA compliance. Some users find the 15.5” height too low for comfortable sitting.

If you are looking for a new Kohler toilet, we have you covered in this extended review of the Kohler Persuade.
The Persuade is a two-piece toilet with a sleek design. We dove into the key features along with more attention to the flushing power of this toilet in the description below.
Also, make sure to look at the different color and seat options we listed for you.

If you’re looking for a contemporary-design two-piece unit, this toilet is for you.
Flushing Power
A good dual-flush toilet goes a long way.
The Persuade has a top-mount two-button flush that gives you the option of 1.0 or 1.6 gallons per flush. Dual-flush toilets are fantastic for saving water and money on your annual water bill. In fact, this dual-flush system meets strict EPA flushing guidelines and is even eligible for rebates in some municipalities.
Smart Design
The Persuade is the definition of a modern-looking toilet. Its tight tank looks like it sucks itself in while the bowl is glossy and sleek. The Persuade would fit seamlessly into a contemporary all-white, angular bathroom. The toilet is sleek and compact, but even in its compactness is very comfortable.
The Persuade has a height of 16.5” and comes with an elongated bowl. Although the toilet isn’t ADA-compliant, it still offers some support and makes sitting and standing up relatively comfortable.
The 16.5” height qualifies as Comfort Height, meaning it’s chair-like. It should be comfortable for all users, regardless of ability. Taller toilets are a bit more difficult for smaller children to operate. However, if you know your toilet won’t be used by many and you like the chair-height, the Persuade is here for you.
One major plus for modern-looking toilets like the Persuade is the toilet’s skirted trapway. If you take a look at the model, you’ll notice no small nooks or crannies for nasty dirt to gravitate towards. This means your toilet’s exterior cleaning will be “easy peasy lemon squeezy”. Just take a wet cloth with mild soap, give the porcelain the occasional wipe down, and you’re good to go.
The Persuade comes in white, biscuit, almond, dune, ice grey, and black black. It consists of a skirted trapway bowl, toilet tank, dual flush push buttons, ReadyLock installation system, tank accessory pack, and tank cover. A toilet seat is not included.
The toilet is compatible with other Kohler products, such as the Cachet Quiet-Close elongated toilet seat, the Purefresh (deodorized) elongated toilet seat, and a dual flush actuator.
One downside to the Persuade is the price. While the Persuade is moderately priced, its lack of ADA compliance and premier Kohler flushing technology makes it a bit hard to justify. We think the Persuade is an all around good toilet. It gets the job done and it’s ideal for small spaces. But other Kohler toilets like the Highline and Cimarron might be a better bargain.
Users state the toilet is easy to install and feels great to sit on, thanks to its height. One user praises the toilet for its infrequent clogging over the course of eight years. The one negative complaint available is about the toilet’s state upon delivery, an issue that was resolved with a call to Kohler’s customer service.

We at Toiletable love a good one-piece toilet. They are easy to install, clean, and maintain. The Kohler Kathryn is another Kohler great, with its lovely trapway and impressive flushing strength.
Be sure to check out the extended features list and the product documentation all right below!
The Kohler Kathryn Toilet Full Review of 2023
Our team hand selected the Kathryn toilet for this review along with gathering facts.
“The Kathryn cares about its users. With its Comfort Height, elongated bowl, and Quick-Release seat, this model wants to make the bathroom experience as quick and easy as possible.”
Key Features
Flush Score:1000 MaPWhat is MaP?Grams of waste removed in a single flush. Scale = 0 - 1000

The Kathryn has a precision-engineered tank, bowl, and trapway that harnesses the power of gravity to create an extra-strong siphon. Revolution 360 swirl flushing technology streams water all around the bowl so no grime or streaks are left behind.
The high-quality AquaPiston canister optimizes flush performance by requiring a lower actuation force than a traditional flapper. The canister’s design has 90% less exposed seal material than a three-inch flapper, reducing the chance of leakage. The toilet’s flush valve also has a 3:2 ratio that further increases flushing strength.
At 1.28 gallons per flush, this unit saves you thousands of gallons a year, when compared to traditional 1.6 gpf units. Saving thousands of gallons means hundreds of dollars off your annual water bill. Nowadays it’s hard to find things that are both cost-effective and eco-friendly, but this EPA WaterSense-certified toilet has you covered.
Smart Design
Take a look at the Kathryn’s beautiful concealed trapway. The unique octagon shape effortlessly compliments the toilet’s slightly angled tank. The toilet’s faux-crown molding gives it a classic feel while also maintaining a modern touch. We recommend this toilet for traditional bathrooms, as the toilet would be at home amidst a tiled backsplash and large mirrors.
One of the Kathryn’s most defining features is its ADA-compliance. The toilet stands at 16 ⅜” and has an elongated bowl. ADA-compliant toilets are excellent for all users as they make units more accessible to those in need of extra assistance while sitting or standing up.
Elongated bowls provide an extra layer of comfort by dispersing user body weight when sitting. This model’s elongated bowl takes up the same amount of space as a round bowl so you can have a better bathroom experience without sacrificing space!
The Kathryn has a concealed trapway, eliminating any little spaces where dirt may accumulate. The toilet’s Clean Caps low-profile bolt caps facilitate easier cleaning as they’re easily removable and simple to reinstall.
The Kathryn is available in white, biscuit, and black black. The toilet comes with a left-hand polished chrome trip lever. From our perspective, the trip lever is a bit strange. Instead of pushing down like a traditional lever, this one requires you to pull upwards. While it’s not that big of a difference, it’s worth mentioning.
Another feature that we love about this unit is that it comes with a toilet seat. Oftentimes its tough to find an affordable toilet that comes with a seat – let alone a good one. The Kathryn comes with the Quiet Close compact elongated seat. So long are the days of annoying seat slamming and cracking! The seat’s Quick-Release functionality also makes the seat easy to remove – an extra perk during cleaning.
Although many reviews aren’t available for the Kathryn, the ones posted praise the toilet’s compact size which makes it a perfect fit for small bathrooms. Other positive reviews talk about the toilet’s easy-to-clean one-piece structure.
One user had a negative experience upon delivery by receiving mismatching parts, however, this was solved after a quick call to Kohler’s customer service.

AquaPiston canister increases water flow for excellent suction strength
We at Toiletable are big fans of Kohler. The company is known for well-built models that prioritize user experience. The Adair is no different.
Flushing Performance
One of the most impressive parts of the Adair is its AquaPiston canister which increases water flow and streams across every side of the bowl. The high-quality canister withstands the test of time through its durable non-deteriorating material. The canister also has a low actuation force making flushing as simple as can be.
The Adair also has a 3:2 flush valve ratio that optimizes flush performance and a reliable canister design has 90% less exposed seal material than traditional three-inch flappers, reducing chance of leakage.
This unit utilizes 1.28 gallons per flush, saving you thousands of gallons a year, when compared to traditional 1.6 gallons per flush units.
Smart Design
This one-piece ADA-compliant unit has a Comfort Height of 16.5” and a comfortable elongated bowl. Comfort Height toilets simulate a standard chair-like setting, allowing users to easily sit and stand up.
We’ve reviewed hundreds of toilets and one of the most frustrating parts is when an excellent toilet does not come with a matching toilet seat. Well, with the Adair this problem ceases to exist thanks to the inclusion of the Cachet Quiet-Close elongated seat. The Quiet-Close seat resists wear-and-tear by preventing annoying seat clanging.
The toilet is available in white, biscuit, almond, dune, ice grey, sandbar, mexican sand, cashmere, thunder grey, and black black. In addition to a seat, the toilet comes with a tank, bowl, bolt cap accessory pack, tank accessory pack, and tank cover. A left-hand chrome polished trip lever is included as well.
This toilet uses a standard 2 ⅛” trapway. The concealed trapway simplifies cleaning by eliminating potential spots that may harbor bacteria and grime. The toilet’s curved tank is sleek, soft, and glossy. The tank lid is stable enough to put things on.
If you are looking for a more luxurious seat, the Adair is compatible with the Nightlight Quiet-Close elongated seat, which lights up the bowl so you don’t have to turn on the lights on your nighttime bathroom trips.
If you’re looking for a bidet-like situation, try the elongated cleansing toilet. It’s a removable bidet seat that provides a spa-like experience for the fraction of a smart toilet.

Not many reviews are available for the Adair. The positive ones tend to focus on the Adair’s effective flushing mechanism and durability. Some users note that they wished the toilet was higher. Another complaint is that the toilet is a bit pricey for a non-smart toilet. However, the Adair does come with a Quiet-Close seat which is a plus.

1.28 GPF unit with AquaPiston canister and Revolution 360 swirl flush technology
This two-piece toilet is simply designed for a hassle-free user experience.
Powerful Flush
The Betello is equipped with Kohler-trademarked Revolution 360 swirl flushing technology. The toilet’s forceful swirling motion goes around every area of the bowl leaving nothing but shine behind. Gravity is harnessed in the precision-engineered tank, bowl, and trapway to create ultra-powerful suction.
The Betello is another Kohler unit that comes with the fantastic AquaPiston canister. We believe Kohler’s canister design is one of the best on the market. The AquaPiston allows water to flow out of the tank from all angles to increase flush effectiveness. Additionally, the flush valve 3:2 ratio further optimizes flushing performance.
Another great feature of the Betello is that despite all its flushing power, it only uses 1.28 gallons per flush. This allows your water usage to be both eco-friendly and cost-effective.
Smart Design
The Betello is an elongated Comfort Height ADA-compliant toilet. It has a bowl height of 16 ⅜”, a similar height to most standard chairs. The Comfort Height alleviates pressure on knees for easy sitting and standing up.
One of the most notable Betello features is its cleanliness. Firstly, the toilet comes with the ContinuousClean system which automatically dispenses cleaning solution with every flush – keeping your bowl cleaner five times longer! The ContinuousClean system works with any toilet bowl cleaner tablet; thanks to the system’s high-quality design, tablets last for more than a year in the system.
The Betello also has an optional LED system indicator light that reminds you when to replace your cleaning agent or batteries. Two AAA batteries are included.
Secondly, the toilet’s skirted trapway simplifies cleaning by eliminating nooks and crannies for grime and dirt to stick to. That means less time scrubbing and stressing. The toilet cleans itself from the inside and the only thing you have to do is wipe its exterior once in a while!
Furthermore, thanks to Kohler’s CleanCoat technology, water scale and mineral scale growth is inhibited so your occasional clean only requires mild soap and water.
The Betello comes with a standard 12” rough-in through 10” and 14” rough-in kits are available for purchase as well. A seat and supply line are not included. The ReadyLock installation system simplifies the toilet’s set-up by eliminating the need for drilling. No professional help is needed.
The toilet is compatible with the Kohler Quiet-Close elongated seat as well as the Kohler elongated cleansing seat. Small investments, such as high-quality seating, can make a big difference in your bathroom experience. You can’t go wrong with any Kohler seat.

Users are happy with the Betello, citing the toilet’s efficient flush and high-quality cleaning technology. Reviewers mention how much their cleaning time has gone down due to the toilet’s ContinuousClean feature and the exterior’s protective glaze.
While many reviews aren’t available, the most common complaint seems to be the lack of a toilet seat. One user mentions that the recommended seat they bought on Amazon didn’t fit and resulted in more hassle than anticipated.

AquaPiston ensures a strong flush and clean bowl.
DryLock system minimizes the risk of leakages and moisture-related damages.
The Kohler Devonshire toilet is an excellent two-piece for anyone interested in quality, affordability, and variety. We selected the Devonshire as the best Kohler toilet in this review.
This toilet features the brand’s characteristic AquaPiston flushing system that fulfills EPA standards and implements the Dry Lock technology to guard against leakage and make installation easy.
The Devonshire has an elongated bowl, and a seat height of 17.25″. It’s as comfortable as it is stylish. We like the toilet’s interesting tank design that features beautiful curves in addition to its crown molded tank. Because of its simple yet unique design, you can place the Devonshire amidst any bathroom aesthetic.
A quick comparison of the Kohler Devonshire to the TOTO promenade helped us realize that they are pretty much similar in all aspects besides price and maintenance. The Devonshire is slightly cheaper than the TOTO promenade but has more hard-to-reach areas than the one-piece Promenade.
Still, that didn’t stop us from making it our favorite on this list. Though it has the look of an antique, customers note that it has the functionality of modern toilets.
We love that you can save water with its 1.28 gallons per flush without worrying about flushing power, due to its reliable suction strength.
Also to note, its retro-classic aesthetic is available in an exquisite catalog of color models.
Users love the quality they get for the price they pay. The Devonshire is praised by users for its sleek look and durable performance. The flush uses minimal water, but still effectively gets the job done. Only a few buyers mention minimal clogging issues, which can be solved in a matter of minutes.

Some customers complain about a loose handle that wiggles.
The Kohler Archer is a two-piece toilet that is visually appealing and easy to clean. It features an elongated bowl with beautiful beveled edges and comes in seven colors.
The Archer has a long list of certifications. It meets ADA compliance with its 17.25” seat height and EPA standards with its 1.28 gallons per flush. Customers have shared that its flush system is really quiet, unlike the other AquaPiston flush system toilets, and its tank fills quickly.
The Archer uses the DryLock installation system that makes its installation easy and prevents leakage. Still, some customers have had minor issues with the toilet leaking. For the most part this seems to be an installation issue, so it may be worth it to bring in a professional to avoid this issue.
The Archer is loved for its comfortable user experience and beautiful look. Users are surprised by how efficient the 1.28 gallon per flush really is. As mentioned above, the most common issue is minor leakage which stems from improper installation.
“Customers absolutely love this toilet for its exclusive design, varieties, and functional seat. We have to agree – the Memoirs is an absolute gem.”

Few customers complain about a noisy flush and water splashes when flushing.
If you thought the Devonshire was stately, then the Memoir toilet would dazzle you. The Kohler Memoirs toilet is so unique that reviewers have termed it a “statement” toilet.
The Memoirs is a two-piece toilet (also available in one-piece) that comes in six different colors.
The K-3819 toilet features the typical powerful flush system of the Kohler brand. This means the AquaPiston canister flush valve, along with a large trapway expels the waste smoothly and quickly.
Since it has a single-flush system of 1.6 gallons per flush, it doesn’t meet WaterSense standards. What it lacks in water-savings, it makes up for in comfort. The toilet has an elongated bowl and can be raised to an ADA-compliant seat height of 17.25″ making it suitable for people with mobility restrictions.
The K-3819 toilet does not come with a toilet seat, wax ring, or a supply line but has a fully glazed 2⅛-inch trapway for no-clog performance.
Unfortunately, some customers report that the Memoirs toilet has a noisy flush system, but it’s only because of its strong suction power.
While we appreciate the various color options of the new Memoirs toilet, the older model has features that minimize tank condensation and more water efficient.
Kohler recommends picking up the 1023457 wax ring/hardware kit, and the 1265114 connector hose.
The Wellworth is popular among buyers. Reviews cite the toilet’s effective flush that leaves the toilet clean after use. Installation is so easy that professional help isn’t even required. The most common complaint is the toilet’s flushing noise. Because of its strong suction, the toilet is a bit noisier than other models.

CleanCoat protects against waste sticking to bowl.
Strong siphon action using a single gravity flush.
The Corbelle toilet is a glimpse into the future of the toilet industry. While it might not be as exceptional as the San Souci, it has its perks.
The Corbelle K-3814 is an elongated two-piece toilet that uses the high-power Revolution 360 flush with a twist.
Instead of water jetting out from the rim-hidden outlets, the Corbelle has a large opening at the top side of its pan that releases water in a powerful spiral once you use the flusher.
This system is amplified with its CleanCoat technology that ensures your shiny toilet bowl stays shiny. It protects the bowl from residues, water skid marks, and according to the Kohler team, “water scales and mineral stains.”
The Corbelle measures a seat height of 17.25″, and has a thick, skirted base that delivers an excellent visual appeal.
This Corbelle toilet features a ReadyLock technology for easy installation of the skirted toilet and features 10 to 14-inch rough-in options.
Some Corbelle models, like the K-5711 and K-5709, sport the ContinuousClean mechanism that maintains their bowls even better.
Although the K-3814 toilet has a floor-mount system, it requires interested shoppers to buy the seat and supply line separately.
Some customers complain the toilet’s left-hand trip lever feels awkward and makes a screeching noise when pressed down. Still, the Kohler Corbelle has gained the loyalties of many customers. These customers say the Corbelle is comfortable to use, clean, and flushes well.
“The Wellworth has low water consumption but don’t let that fool you. This unit removes a large waste load like no other.”

Dual flush toilet with plenty of flushing power.
The DryLock system reduces the risk of leakage between bowl and tank.
The Kohler Wellworth is an all-around well-thought-of piece. It is the ideal toilet for anyone looking for affordability and space efficiency.
Customers love the Kohler Wellworth toilet since it’s not prone to clogs, which is experienced with other models. It is fitted with a dual-flush system of 1.1/1.6 gallons per flush to help you save water and raise your chances of getting a rebate on your water bills.
No one enjoys having to use a plunger, the Wellworth takes care of this with its Class Five flushing system which equips toilets with a larger flush valve and additional water jets.
This toilet also features the DryLock installation system. The wax ring solidifies the toilet’s stand against leakages, and the DryLock installation system makes the Wellworth toilet easy to set up.
However, the Wellworth does not come with a toilet seat, so you will have to purchase that separately. But don’t worry – Kohler has a fantastic selection of nice and very affordable seats.
The Wellworth is a bit tricky to clean because of the typical crevices of two-piece toilets.
Still, you have to applaud the upscale of the Wellworth series. The K-3987-0 beats its previous model, the Wellworth K-3575, through its round-front bowl that makes it suitable for tiny bathrooms and its water-efficient dual-flush system that puts environmental concerns at ease.
This two-piece toilet is available in several colors, including white, biscuit, almond, and black.
Customers praise the Wellworth as a quality dual-flush model that delivers on all its promises. The flush seems to have eliminated clogging issues that users had with their previous toilet, but some did mention that the occasional flush did not always clean the bowl fully. However, for the most part, users are proud of their purchase. One reviewer put it quite simply: “A toilet that looks and works great!”
“The Santa Rosa surprises customers with its QuietClose seat, fast filling tank, and odor control.”

When you first take a look at the Santa Rosa, you’ll instantly feel a sense of serenity.
The Santa Rosa does not make as much noise as other conventional toilets and even comes with a Brevia QuietClose Grip-Tight seat that lets you close the lid quietly!
The K-3810 Santa Rosa toilet is a beautifully designed one-piece toilet with a 17.25” seat height and an elongated bowl. Its height is ADA compliant with the complementary seat.
The seat also has a QuickRelease function that enables owners to detach it easily for deep cleaning.
The Santa Rosa uses the AquaPiston flushing system and has a fast refill tank, so you don’t have to wait for too long before pushing the lever once more!
While the K-3810 Santa Rosa toilet comes in a left-hand trip lever design, there are right-hand trip lever Santa Rosa models. The toilet is fitted with a 12-inch rough-in that works well with most bathrooms.
Cleaning the Kohler Santa Rosa is relatively easy because its round corners do not have the usual hard-to-reach areas of edged toilets.
The 11-inch high water level and large surface area enhance its sanitary quality, saving you the stress of cleaning the bowl when you don’t have the time.
Buyers like this one stating the toilet is stylish and packs a powerful flush. Users also note that the toilet rarely clogs. Reviews boast about the toilet’s included Quiet-Close seat that eliminates unwanted slamming.

17.25″ seat height allows easy sitting.
Strong flush using the Class Five system.
Affordable price point.
Customers reported louder than normal flush.
Tank bolts can be difficult to screw together during installation.
This Kohler Highline toilet also uses the Class Five flush system and has a flush rating of 1.28 gallons per flush, meeting EPA-WaterSense standards.
It is a two-piece, elongated bowl toilet with a 17.25″ seat height. Although it does not come with a seat, the K-3999 toilet works well with most elongated toilet seats.
The K-3999 toilet is fitted with the standard 12” rough-in and has a 3-bolt quick-connect installation, making installation a close walkover. We said “close” because it does not come with the supply line or wax ring.
Although this Highline toilet features the powerful and quiet gravity flush, it is slightly difficult to clean because of the characteristic crevices of two-piece toilets. The K-3999 toilet also has an exposed trapway that is not aesthetically pleasing and presents more accumulation spots for dirt.
Comparing the Highline to the Cimarron, we’d gravitate towards the Highline for its lower price and high performance.
Plus, the Highline K-3999 outperforms its predecessor, the K-3949 Highline, by having a shorter rough-in fitting. Instead of the 14-inch size, it has a 12-inch fitting, which is the standard of most bathrooms.
Customers are happy with this toilet, stating it is a stylish, comfortable addition to any bathroom. The flush is quick and efficient, and users were pleased with how quiet and eco-friendly the toilet is. The most common complaint is the exposed trapway which invites dirt to accumulate in its crevices.
“White, grey, tan? Whatever color you’re in the market for the Cimarron has you covered.”

The Kohler Cimarron is an elongated bowl toilet available in one-piece and two-piece designs with up to nine different models, each of which has several color choices.
The Cimarron uses the AquaPiston flush canister to give a thorough 360-degree flush and bowl scouring. But in all of this, its sound is so quiet the person in the next room would barely hear it flush.
The Cimarron, like the other Kohler toilets, is pretty easy to install because of its DryLock system. This system also helps to prevent leakages and rust.
Other beneficial features of this toilet include its broad trapway that allows waste to go through quickly and its natural seat height that is comfortable for most people.
Here’s two things to keep in mind. Firstly, not all of the Cimarron models are WaterSense-approved. Secondly, the toilet doesn’t come with the necessary installation hardware.
Nevertheless, the Cimarron toilet is certainly one of the best out there, and its qualities prove it considers comfort and individual preferences.
Users mention that the Cimarron is one of the most versatile toilets on the market due to its impressive variety. Reviews mention the toilet’s flushing strength as well as accessible user experience. Some reviews note being disappointed that their Cimarron unit isn’t WaterSense approved.

Strong flush using the AquaPiston canister system.
During a survey of customer reviews, we noticed several similar testimonies: buyers who had been cautious about switching to the Kohler San Souci testified of its exceptional performance.
The Kohler K-5172 San Souci is a one-piece, high-performance, compact elongated bowl toilet.
It comes with a QuietClose seat and has a seat height of 17.25″. The San Souci also features a quiet gravity flush system but with an upgrade: a broad, concealed trapway.
This trapway design makes the San Souci as efficient as other toilet systems with broad trapways but more hygienic and pleasant looking since the trapway is concealed.
This toilet comes in a left-hand flush lever style, but there are other San Souci models with right-hand flush levers and touchless flush systems.
The only area where the San Souci might lose to competition is its installation. It does not come with the supply line.
Kohler recommends the 1265114 connector hose to complete your install.
Customers are amazed by its water efficiency. They like its comfortable height and seat as well as its sleek and modern design. Users say that the toilet is visually great, water efficient, and quiet. The most common complaint is it does not come with a supply line.

Like other units on this list, this toilet is also equipped with an AquaPiston canister that increases flushing power by letting water flow in from a 360 degree angle. The K-3981-RA’s light-touch canister flush has a lower actuation force than traditional flappers, so every flush is effective and hassle-free. The toilet uses 1.28 gallons per flush, a cost-saving and environmentally friendly water usage
The K-3981-RA has a Comfort Height of 16.5” and comes with an elongated bowl, making it ADA-compliant; a right-hand polished chrome trip lever is also included.
Another fantastic feature is that a Quiet-Close seat comes with the toilet, eliminating unwanted slamming, in turn protecting against wear and tear. The seat’s quick-release hinges further simplify the cleaning process by being easily removable.
The model only comes in white and biscuit. A right-hand polished chrome trip lever is included.
Users love the K-3981’s comfortable design and elegant look, praising the toilet’s reliable flushing system. The most common complaint is about the toilet’s price tag; although expensive, the immense amount of perks still make the toilet worth it.

Kohler Statement of “B.O.L.D”
If you have a Kohler toilet, you may have already heard of the term B.O.L.D. That stands for Bulk-Waste, Overall Cleanliness, Light-Waste Removal, and Does Not Clog.
Bulk Waste Removal
Powerful toilets that can get rid of bulk waste in one flush.
Overall Cleanliness
Due to the AquaPiston canister and the CleanCoat technology, Kohler toilets require less maintenance than other toilets. Flushing will almost always get rid of all the waste. This way, you won’t have to use the toilet brush.
Light Waste Removal
Kohler toilets are as effective when it comes to removing light waste (floating waste) in one flush as they are when it comes to bulk waste.
Does Not Clog
The combination of the Revolution 360 Swirl technology, AquaPiston flushing canister, and a very large trapway, significantly improves the effectiveness of the flushes. Therefore, they will almost never clog.

Design
This vitreous china two-piece toilet looks and feels good from the get-go. At first glance, you’ll notice the angular structure of the tank, which gives the model a fresh look. The toilet comes in white, biscuit, and black black.
The extra-comfortable elongated bowl helps disperse user body weight , elevating user experience. The Highline is a Comfort Height toilet, with a seat height of 16.5”. Recommended Accessories
If you want to deck out this affordable toilet with some luxurious accessories, Kohler has a wide array of compatible products that go great with the Highline. Consider upgrading to the Cachet Quiet Close toilet seat to avoid any unintentional slamming or the Purefresh elongated seat which comes with its own deodorizing system.
The Highline is also compatible with the C³-420 elongated bidet seat, perfect for those looking for a bidet alternative.
This unit is on the lower end of Kohler’s line of toilets. While it’s not their most basic model, it certainly lacks some of the luxury features that the pricier designs have incorporated.
However, Kohler has engineered the Highline to still perform at a high level, even though it does so with more basic technologies. For instance, rather than the Revolution 360 flush system, it uses a more basic Class Five flush valve. This toilet also lacks the self-cleaning features and antimicrobial surface coatings that Kohler has made standard on their other models.
Let’s compare the Highline to Kohler’s most basic model, the Wellworth, to see how the two stack up.
